-- Download NicheBOT's PageRank 10 finally stabilized by Google… as PDF --
I am writing you right now from JFK Airport as I return from the two-day intense Adsense Immersion Seminar hosted by Howie Scwartz and Dr. Mike Woo-Ming, former physician turned internet marketer.
After an approximate 2 month run of NicheBOT’s home page being a PageRank 10, Google has finally re-settled all of NicheBOT’s backlinks and returned its PageRank to a PR6.
During the PR10 run, it appeared that NicheBOT acquired all of Google’s backlinks (1,600,000), among those being Adobe (http://www.adobe.com) at the top of the list.
We received many theories and opinions from SEO experts such as… NicheBOT was hijacking PageRank by cloaking its page with a 302 redirect, which was plainly false. All NicheBOT subscribers were alerted about the fact that NicheBOT runs a very clean and simple reciprocal linking partner program. There were some so-called SEO experts who were so confident that Google was exporting NicheBOT’s pagerank and that NicheBOT would soon be banned and erased from Google’s index. That reality never came about.
As it can be clearly seen by doing a search on Google, all of NicheBOT’s backlinks have stabilized and return to normal. (Click the following link for proof… http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=link%3Anichebot.com&btnG=Google+Search)
When the initial PageRank 10 glitch occurred, NicheBOT immediately contacted Google through it’s webmaster contact page to advise them of the situation. Google wrote us back (not a form letter) that they are aware of the situation and forwarded the situation of the wrongly acquired backlinks to their engineers. They also indicated they would write NicheBOT should any further information or collaberation or cooperation be required.
So what do you when you know for sure that you run a very clean, straight, white hat site with absolutely no cloaking and no funny stuff going on, yet your PageRank is fluctuating in a weird way with an irregular amount of backlinks?
Simple.
Contact Google directly and advise them of the situation so they can assist you or at least be aware of the situation. Even if you get a form letter back in return, you’ve got your email documented to them. It’s better than just leaving the situation alone and not doing a thing. (This habit of documenting everything was engrained in me with my 18 years of legal training and experience.) It’s just a good habit to practice.
Be upfront, forthright, honest and direct about the problem or difficulty you are experiencing with a search engine and things will most likely work out. Nothing is ever guaranteed.
Stay tuned for more updates on the release of NicheBOT Reloaded version 2.0 coming with some screenshots and some exciting new features that will totally enhance your keyword experience.
